To meet the Bolivian client’s target of a 10 TPH NPK fertilizer granulation production line within a $350,000 budget, YUSHUNXIN designed a complete and cost-controlled solution based on urea, fosfato di diammonio (DAP), cloruro di potassio (KCl), e oligoelementi.
Urea Crusher ($4,600–$5,600)
Primo, a urea crusher reduces urea and DAP granules into fine powder. After crushing, the particle size reaches ≤1 mm, with no large particles remaining. This step improves material dispersion, enhances mixing uniformity, and ensures accurate NPK ratios.
Automatic Batching System ($4,000–$5,500)
Prossimo, the automatic batching scale precisely weighs urea, DAP, KCl, and micro-nutrients. It supports simultaneous batching of 3–10 raw materials, with a weighing accuracy of up to ±0.5%. Inoltre, the raw material shortage alarm helps prevent formulation errors during continuous operation.
Double-Shaft Horizontal Mixer ($3,500–$4,500)
The double-shaft horizontal mixer blends all raw materials evenly before granulation. The mixing uniformity reaches ≥95%, with no dead zones. It handles both dry and wet powders and allows the later addition of liquid additives, such as anti-caking agents or microbial agents.
Rotary Drum Granulator ($30,000–$35,000)
The mixed materials then enter the SXZGZ-2028 rotary drum granulator. This machine forms strong and uniform NPK fertilizer granules for large-scale commercial production. Its granulation rate exceeds 98%, and operators can adjust particle size by changing drum speed and inclination.
Drying and Cooling Unit (about $80,000)
To improve granule strength and control moisture, we recommended a 1.2 × 2 m drying and cooling machine. This unit stabilizes fertilizer quality and supports continuous 10-ton-per-hour output.
Rotary Drum Screening Machine ($8,000–$9,000)
After drying, the SXZG-1560D rotary drum screener separates qualified granules from oversized and fine particles. Its multi-layer screen design enables simultaneous classification. Oversized granules return to the crusher, while fine powder feeds back into the granulator, forming a closed-loop system.
Double-Bucket Packaging Machine ($10,000–$12,000)

To meet this requirement, we recommended adding a pellet rounding machine after the drum granulation stage. This equipment reshapes irregular particles into rounder and more uniform granules, significantly improving sphericity and surface smoothness. As a result, the granules show consistent size and better visual appearance.

Inoltre, we equipped the 300,000 TPY NPK fertilizer production line with a fertilizer coating machine. The coating system evenly applies color agents and functional additives onto the granule surface. It not only produces colorful NPK fertilizer products, but also increases granule hardness, reduces dust during handling, and improves storage and transportation performance.
After on-site testing, the finished NPK fertilizer granules achieved a crushing strength of ≥12 N, fully meeting the client’s from Bolivia quality standards.
How We Helped the Client in Bolivia Control Dust and Wastewater Emissions?
The customer from Bolivia also faced strict local regulations on dust control and wastewater discharge. To ensure full compliance, YUSHUNXIN integrated an efficient environmental protection system into the 300,000 tons/year NPK fertilizer granulation plant.
For dust management, we installed a pulse bag dust collector at key dust-generating points, such as crushing, mixing, and screening sections. This system captures fine fertilizer particles in real time and keeps dust concentration well below local emission limits. It also improves the workshop environment and protects workers’ health.
For wastewater control, we designed a closed-loop wastewater recycling system. All cleaning water and process wastewater flow back into a collection tank for reuse in granulation and mixing. so, this design achieves near-zero wastewater discharge and reduces fresh water consumption.
